Methanol Dehydration Equipment

Methanol recovery from diverse sources (natural gas, coal, biomass, waste streams) involves varying processes, tailored to the feedstock. Utilizing a Super-gravity distillation tower, methanol is heated slightly above its boiling point, vapor collected, condensed, and obtained, leveraging its low boiling point (64.7°C or 148.5°F) for efficient separation.

High-purity methanol is typically derived from the reaction of carbon monoxide and hydrogen, resulting in water dissolution. Dehydration equipment, like pervaporation zeolites membrane units, ensures the attainment of high purity. The pervaporation process encompasses preheating, inorganic molecular sieve membrane separation, vacuum suction, and product condensation, offering precise, efficient process control.

By replacing the conventional gravity field with a rotating centrifugal force field, it significantly increases the relative speed of gas-liquid phases, accelerates phase interface renewal, and exponentially boosts production intensity. When employing fold-flow super gravity distillation columns for methanol recovery and separation, a feed methanol mass fraction of 60% enters from the center.
