Our cutting-edge deodorization process is designed to remove odorous substances from fats and oils with utmost precision. Operating under high temperature and high vacuum conditions, this method employs vapor distillation, also known as vapour extraction, taking advantage of the varying volatility between odorous substances and triglycerides.
Here’s how it works:
The refined, decolorized oil is efficiently fed under vacuum conditions, regulated by a flow meter, and passed through a heat exchanger. It is preheated and continue to be heated to a temperature (specific temperature tailored to oil quality) and introduced into the deacidification (deodorization) tower. Within the deodorization tower, operating at a vacuum degree, the oil undergoes the deodorization process, with precise control over the duration.
Under these stringent conditions, water vapor passes through the oil, carrying with it the odorous components. These odorous components interact with the vapor-liquid surface, saturating the water vapor with volatile odorous compounds. The water vapor then escapes in proportion to their partial pressure, effectively eliminating the odorous elements.
Once complete, the deodorized oil from the bottom layer of the tower is pumped out, passing through oil-oil heat exchangers. It is then efficiently cooled down to approximately 45°C through a series of cooling stages and filtering, ensuring the utmost outlet refined quality.
The final product is stored in the deacidified and deodorized oil tank. This advanced deodorization process guarantees exceptional oil quality and aroma, meeting the highest industry standards.
